Synopsis Joukamachi no Dandelion

This anime comedy, especially about Akane, can be said to be pretty good. The theme is always the same, namely the shy nature of Akane when in front of a crowd, but there is creative writing behind every situation when the trait is raised, so that every joke that emerges from it is still successfully displayed with a fresh and different taste. ... However, comedy turned out to be not the main goal of this anime. The real form is a drama about the Sakurada family (except Teru and Shiori) when they are looking for their own identity - about the burden they have to bear and the dreams they want to achieve. There is nothing wrong with this, of course, but ... didn't this anime suddenly lose a lot of its appeal? Perhaps the reason is because there is no natural curiosity that arises against these characters. The situation that became the basis of this anime story, namely the election to determine the next king, did not immediately make anyone curious, especially with the election taking place in a country in the middle of nowhere so no one would care about the outcome. In fact, there is no encouragement to know who the brothers and sisters will be or even who Akane himself is as an individual. Most likely the audience just wants to see the funny behavior as a shy girl who is required to deal with the attention of the entire kingdom, so even though the story of this anime is objectively good enough, it is difficult to get rid of the feeling that somehow it still disappoints.
