Synopsis
Ichiro Inuyashiki, 58, father of 2 children. His old and fragile appearance often made him abandoned by his own family. The only friend he has is Hanako, his pet dog. One night, he witnessed the emergency landing of the aliens that claimed his life. However, he was reborn as a robot, along with a young man who at that time also witnessed the incident.
Comment
Hiroya Oku is often known as the mangaka behind Gantz. This time, he returned with his new work: Inuyashiki. This anime introduces us to Ichiro Inuyashiki, an old man who was reborn as a robot and helps people in trouble. The first episode of the anime takes us into the daily life of the father and his family as a human being, and how his life changed after being reborn as a robot.
One thing that the audience might realize when watching Inuyashiki is how this anime is full of 3DCG. Even so, the transition from 2D to 3D doesn't feel awkward, moreover the use of 3D animation is very effective in scenes that require the Inuyashiki to use its robot power. This anime also has the prettiest visual ending this season.
